What started out as a hobby for
Angela Sherman quickly became a
business and promotion via the
internet was an important aspect
of 'spreading the word' about
rare breed pigs and sheep, more
importantly actually selling the
produce from the farm.
The
requirement was for the website
to be visually catching and
informative, with details of the
farm, its produce, the local
area and more importantly the
animals.
Some of
the animals on the farm are more
rare than the Giant Panda
therefore it was important for
Eggardon to promote this
awareness and explain how their
care would bring back some of
these rare breeds from the brink
of extinction.
The
website is undergoing regular
updates to improve the
navigation, ongoing information
about animal shows and results as well
as the future introduction of
online payment and ordering.
The site
has achieved measurable success
in gaining visitors and
customers and Eggardon's
business continues to grow.
